Trading is a Journey

Welcome to the Platinum series 2026!

This year in September as usual, we are bringing to your economic attention award-winning trading apps. These are available from the Google Play Store.

Firstly - have you ever thought of trading?

In my upcoming book - The Anatomy of Finance - I will be talking mostly about the Golden Ratio Rule which featured last Platinum series.

Please subscribe to this blog to get the weekly Platinum Series updates for this 2026 year.

Also as a bonus please consider getting one of Spotify Playlists - to enjoy as part of your new financially stable life.

For now, back to trading!

TRADING IS JOURNEY

When you think of the stock exchange you probably think of that 10pm broker leaving after a bad day at the office or a financial crisis comes to mind  - whether global, covid-related or just an overspend gone way wrong on your credit card.

Trading is an emotional journey for some. They start with an outlook that everything is difficult, everything is technical and abbreviated- you will mess up - is the only belief you have.

Every journey starts with fuel.

I don't mean the WTi stock here - stay away from that stupidly small number of 88 or 100-ish - that is literally the oil price LIVE in USD - US dollars.

Bitcoin is this massive number - surely that's what you're going into- crypto. Crypto is for the brave and for the long run. There are some bad dips there but again - The number you see is the ACTUAL price of thee Bitcoin for the day. If you bought higher it's not a good day for you - naturally - if you bought lower then hey hey - save the world today.

AOF TOP ADVICE

Don't ever PIP 1.0 (one) on any stock - that is whole amount of your money in your wallet, that you deposited after trying a Demo Account of course - that's all of it in.

Don't think trading is poker and spend all your FUEL on a one way trip!

PLAN YOUR JOURNEY.

A good trip has stops and outs - nonsense - EYES ON THE ROAD all the time. Otherwise, tap out - and sleep. Don't try the overnight game as a beginner. Stay awake, stay focused - build slow.

Your FUEL will last and you won't be borrowing from friends and neighbours.

Simple runs like have a coffee break in the middle of driving - are not necessarily a good idea. Point to point is the best to learn the road or the stock you are interested in. Does it stay up (Buy) or does it love to crash down (Sell) - always around lunch time it's either, or- for maybe 2 hours. Study it a little. Put just a little (PIP SMALL).

OUR AOF PIP CHOICE  is available in our new materials and definitely sits way below 0 - try [0.??] - it works. PROFITS BUILD SLOW but losses are very controlled with this number. Use it in your app of choice. That's  the AOF Trading strategy - BUILD SLOW or "EARN THE SILVER" PIP Strategy is very stable even for housewives on a very tight budget.

Add more funds as available - more fuel or very very little $10-$15 to start. It still works well to bring numbers in profit and not huge numbers in the red. That's the dynamic.

DON'T RUN OUT OF FUEL

The more you know your INSTRUMENT or chosen stock - the less scared you'll be when insights don't match or are sketchy. Which way Buy or Sell? Panic and you are everywhere and crashed out.

Same for property - don't just look online, go there - see the neighborhood- does it match up with what's online? Check any websites and social media accounts you are presented with before putting your foot down (thumb down on the BUY button).

It takes two years for a startup - those tech ones to turn a profit - so a coffee and you are gone unless you really believe in these guys - then invest. But your money after you invest (Buy) into the stock may take TWO years to really do anything  - the graph literally bobs up a little and nothing - not the great slammer you hear of on the news. No.

So $50,000 into a tech startup might only move in a year into $75,000 but they do need the funds to keep going. So always BUY if it is a tech company.

The scariest part of trading by yourself is YOU SEE YOUR MONEY LIVE. So keep an eye on that FUEL gauge at all times. It's a journey.

Enjoy it!
